Can Need for Speed go back to serious racing this time?

The Need for Speed franchise has had some rough years with design and gameplay constantly changing focus. However, with the new Need for Speed Shift game EA may have hit the right mix between simulation and arcade by emulating games like PGR and GRID. The reviews so far have been very favourable.

This demo features the London River and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps tracks. You can choose between four cars available plus the Pagani Zonda F, which can be unlocked.

You will have to launch the game from your Electronic Arts folder and you also need to update your drivers if you have problems installing it.
So is there any rubber left on the tire? Or will it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?
